Just brushing the dust of the keyboard... that's better. Well hellooooo people. Yet again it's been a while since I placed an entry
on this blog. Apologies.
Everyone is ok and Jessica (now turned two) has grown up soooo much over the last couple of months. She speaks! Well, she is getting
there! She is able to string two to three words together and loves to make us all laugh. Her little personality is starting to shine
through everyday. There are not so many tamtrums these days, an explanation seems to fix these at the moment. She loves saying hello and goodbye
to everyone and everything, especially when it means staying up another five minutes!
Dan and Vix are doing just great, as far as I know they don't have any immediate plans for anymore offspring, although this seems
to be the question of the moment. Dan has actually stuck to something and has managed to lose nearly one and half stone since January 6th. He has finally

Thursday 24th January '08 - Guess its the wrong week to quit landing practice?
We recently had some sunshine! Nah... you say? Well we did, it was sunny for a whole morning! Someone is spoiling us. Dan, Vix and Jess all went to Telscombe Cliffs in Peacehaven for
a walk. Jess loved walking along the promenade all by herself, she was smiling and laughing all the way. After all
that walking they decided to visit McDonalds as a treat! Dan said he doesn't know how they do it, but it seems
every child is born to love McDonalds. Considering Jess can sometimes be fussy with her food, there was no stopping her at Mc D's, she couldn't get enough of "BURGER"
and chips!!! Dan would also like to point out that this "treat" was before his new training took place. Well you have to give credit he has a new weight loss regime
and has already lost half a stone. Well done... fat boy! lol
We have all had the sniffles this month, bloody colds and flu, always about this time of year. Jess took it ok, she had a few unsettled nights, it was her 2nd cold and even I
found it a little bit upsetting to see her suffer.
Other stuff this month; Well a BA 777 flight from Beijing crash landed at Heathrow airport, it bumped down and stopped short of the runway, an investigation is still underway as to what happened, but surely
it's clear as day, isn't it? (warning; adult orientated). More cars drink what looks like tea after more flooding in England. And no joke, Heath Ledger has died at the age of
28, what a waste. Apparently he had a massive headache and took far too many painkillers! RIP Heath Legder 1979 - 2008.
Friday 4th January '08 - 2007.. What 2007?
I know it's a bit late, but happy New Year to you all. As you can see by this picture of Jess (hair up by the way), she is no longer a baby, some wierd yet wonderful transformation occurred over the holiday period and she has become a little lady. Or a right Madam, a Minxy Moo or was it Little Minx, I forget which one it is.
The art of tantrum throwing is being mastered although it appears to be more frustration and tiredness. She has decided to quit her day time nap and continues running riot for 14 consecutive hours! It just knackers me watching her.
There is a video of Jess on Christmas day floating about, o yup, here it is.
Vix is well, she has enjoyed the time off work, relaxing and eating Doritos... MY GOD! Does the girl love the Doritos! We'll have to get shares in them if she carries on. Dan is on his usual New Year health kick (er. five minute wonder), he has started his own "detox" weblog, it will be up and running soon, I'll post the link shortly but be warned,
I've had a sneek peek and believe me its not for the faint hearted, those images.... yuk.. Don't view on an empty stomach put it that way.
Thursday 21st November '07 - Chilly Willy!Are you still tuned? Hello everyone.. I was going through all my websites and then came accross this folder called "myprodigy", "o gosh!" - I thought, talk about neglect!! Ok its time to fill you in with whats been going on, are you sitting comfortably?
Right, Dan has put another stone of weight on... fat ba#tard! He reckons he's joined an amateur dramatics club and needs to put the weight on for a character his playing. Method acting he's calling it. I'll give him a method "STOP DRINKING SO MUCH!!!".
Vix is her usual self, you can safely say she is an established mother, a true jedi in mothership. It's all about routine, routine, routine and routine. Break it and you will die! LOL..
Jess has come on a long way, she is a proper negotiator, "can I sit up here", "can i have a crisp", "marmite food", "please". She knows all the characters in the film Madagascar (which is on hard rotation), and absolutely loves the penguins!
Another favourite is "In the Night Garden" and it was only last night that she explained to Dan who Harboo is?!?!? In the Night Garden is on the channel Cbeebies and looks to me like it was dreamt up while the creators were experimenting with class A drugs!! Very trippy man. Dan tends to steer clear of it, flashbacks are dangerous things you know!

Thursday 13th September '07 - Hey there Delilah + Cadbury's Gorilla! I will be working on some changes to the photo section of the site shortly, so if it disappears for a while don't panic it will be back with a whole new look.
As you can see by the lack of posts recently I have been busy busy, but nevertheless I have some interesting finds to show you.
Firstly you may have been hearing a song called "Hey There Delilah" being played to death on the radio, well I have stumbled on this parody version, quite amusing!
And to finish this brief post, it would be an absolute crime not to mention the recent TV Ad by Cadbury's - it's the drum pounding, foot tapping, shoulder bouncing GORILLA!!

, they enjoyed some time together while Jess enjoyed her first overnight stay and Grannies n Grandads. Dan said it felt weird not having Jess around, kind of lost and not complete, but still.. he managed to get his first lie-in in 18 months!
Monday 6th August '07 - Smokin' Weekend!Hello Everybody... What a lovely weekend! It just goes to show Britain can still throw out some heat. It was an amazing 29 degrees yesterday and I soaked up some rays while Dan, Vix and Jess enjoyed the garden, relaxing with some juice and a BBQ'd burger. Nice!
Jessica is getting about more than ever, she loves to roam free in the garden smelling all the plants and picking up sticks 'n' things. She did get a little too confident at one point and took a tumble which resulted in a grazed knee, first of many I expect.
All this hot weather makes you tired so if you've got a spare 4:22 mins of your life to waste and have ever wondered what you get if you cross a mad frenchman and a pile of rollerskate wheels? No? Well sit back and watch this!

Monday 23rd July '07 - The UK is underwater!Hey.. I hear wellie sales are up! Strange as I thought it was July. I have to say it's been the worst summer I have ever experienced in my lifetime, half the country has been flooded yet again with over 350,000 homes are currently without electricity or clean water. The Government and newly stated Prime Minister Gordon Bennet, er, I mean Brown has apparently taken control of the situation by turning up at one of the worst hit areas with promises of tackling both the short and long term problems with flooding. Yet he has failed to pull the plug (pardon the pun) on future plans to build new houses on floodplains... sounds like thats the long term sorted then!?!? Who is this idiot?
Dan says that the United Kingdom (or not so united as its turning out) is being run by toffs with no idea of real-life or a grip on people's needs. So that would be lower the taxes, free chav clothes, lottery and beer coupons then Dan? Nice.
Speaking of weather and water, Dan, Vix and Jessica braved the torrential rain and wind and headed off to sunny Brighton to visit the Sealife Centre last friday.
Jessica loved the fish, sharks and of course the turtles (italian accent), she found her spot and admired the underwater wildlife and couldn't help
but tell everyone passing what she was seeing. "shark", "fish" "shark", "here-he-is" she shouted. She is blossoming in confidence and personality everyday, learning right from wrong, do's and dont's - all very handy considering potty training is just around the corner.
Monday 16th July '07 - Holy Dooley! We're Totally Rapt!We have news from the other side of the world. Strooth, crikey I here you cry... What could it be? Well, Jessica is going to have Australian cousin. Thats right Uncle Simon + Auntie Rachel have been having naughties and making babies and as you can see by the this picture he/she is a right beaut!
Dan said he remembers finding out your going to be a father, it's like the ultimate buzz for a man, it's great to know your donger is not a cactus! Good onya! We are totally stoked for you both and send all our love guys!! Can't wait to come over and see you all. Speak soon and hooroo for now.
Jessica has progressed, she can now open doors (good thing?), solve simple puzzles, know the difference between colours and shapes and set scenerio's with her little people figures. She has also mastered 'the frustrated' tantrum throwing and wriggling out of her high chair.

Monday 25th June '07 - OBI Monday!As easy as it is to just keep posting video links as entries I thought I'd better say something. I have been busy busy busy as usual, chillaxing, watching the hilarity known as parenthood through the eyes of Dan n Vix.
Jessica has officially turned into a toddler, she can use more words including "turtle" although this comes out in a very strange italian accent and "bye-bye" is very clear. She can identify endless body parts, animals and Noel Edmonds on Deal or no Deal?!?!? She can also put her point accross very well by pointing and grunting, and by throwing mini tantrums and walking off.. this she gets from Dan, I've seen him do this a lot lately especially when he realises he's run out of beer!

Thursday 24th May '07 - Quack Quack, how about that!?!?It seems that updates are like busses at the moment, nothing for ages then two at once! Keeps you on your toes! I've been playing with the top navi system, what you think?
As you are aware I like a bit of bird watching when I get time, and sometimes it has even gotten me into trouble but as it turns out, it looks like I have my very own stalkers!! These big birds have turned up every evening for the last couple of weeks, there almost like extended family for godsake. Now don't get me wrong, I like a bit of company but I wouldn't say I'm a social animal. How many other cats have to put up with sharing their garden with ducks? I mean they even brought their mates over the other afternoon and they were getting up to allsorts! This is how it starts, then before you know it... a complete duckfest! Enough to drive a cat ducking mad!
O and I would just like to say happy anniversary to Dan n Vix, it was their 2nd wedding anniversary yesterday. Ah bless.

Monday 21st May '07 - Hey guess what! It's raining...again.Sorry for the delay in updates only I have been helping Dan with his latest website, and although not complete you can get a sneak preview here.
The weather this May has been awful, a complete contrast to last month. I have been staying in, chillaxing and brushing up on my html. Baby J (she's not a baby anymore) is fine, she is speaking more words everyday and last weekend we saw the new introduction of words such as "yes" and "lamb".
She has mastered the art of walking forwards, side stepping and just needs a little confidence in the backwards technique, but it won't be long. I have witnessed her running, very scary when it's towards me with marmite covered fingers and a look of total craziness!!
Saturday 28th April '07 - BBQ heaven... Already!!!Is it me or have you noticed that if the weather is nice this site doesn't get updated? MMM. Well here is an update and it HAS been sunny, again! (which is nice!). So nice in fact that Dan got an early BBQ in, the weather has been on average 21 degrees every weekend this April and Dan has been dying to get the tongs out!
Jessica enjoyed a trip to the park last weekend, she loves the swings, they make her belly go over. Check out this short clip here.
Tuesday 17th April '07 - O yeh! The Website... whoops!Yup. The planets still turning and I'm still here... Boy have I been busy since I got back! I have been busy making a new bed, busy finding the right spot to snooze in upstairs (was never allowed before!), busy choosing the best a la carte food that agree's with my delicate and temperamental stomach, busy licking my... Nah seriously.. I have been busy! LOL..
Jessica has been busy too..Among walking she has taken to connecting two syllables together and can almost pronunce the word "Elmo", contrary to thinking that the first two syllable word was "Dadda", nope it turns out that everything, especially things that move are "Dadda". If you say to her clap your hands, where's your hair or pull your trousers up she does it! Its a good laugh.
Ssshh.. Don't say anything but I can officially confirm Dan is getting old, he's been getting into all that growing seeds stuff and he's been listening to radio 2!
Anyway, this month's mash up consists of a cat who unlike me likes to take the bus when nipping down the chippy! Our favourite excuse to do some drug running and get involved with prostitution during the evening will now be even better with the almighty anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto 4. And finally have you ever seen anything like this, a shoe that you plug in to your USB port, weird!
Tuesday 13th March '07 - She's a talkin' and a Walkin'Ok so I'm a away for a bit and I end up missing loads... Dan's just shown me Baby J's birthday video and photo's! I think he done a good job updating the website while I was gone... I also missed Baby J mumble her first words... Damn! Well at least I got back to witness todays antics... She walks! Vix and I counted 6 steps one after the other, followed by a bump to the bottom. It was funny as she looked quite drunk, swaying left to right, back and forth. Dan's going to try and get some video footage of it.
Taking it easy has also given me the chance to catch up on what's going on on the web. The first thing I discovered was this extended trailer preview of Spiderman 3. It's 7 mins worth, Boy! I spoil you! Then this happened to Britney! I didn't know she was a star trek fan? And coming July we have the ultimate in cartoon heaven! The Simpsons - The Movie!
Monday 12th March '07 - I'm Back! Did ya miss me?Excuse me Dan! What changes? I don't think so...
Hello everyone! I really don't know what all the fuss was about, it was "Penelope's" fault, this is what happened. It was a showery yet sunny Thursday afternoon and my feline senses alerted me of a sweet perfumed aroma coming from down the street, I decided to go for a walk and investigate (she was hot I tell ye!). I admiringly tailed her for a few streets when a rude puddle splashing from a car distracted me and I lost track of "Penelope" (thats what i called her) and therefore decided to give up the chase. Thats when I realised I was lost.
As I'm not the sort to ask for directions I soon realised that it was getting dark and I needed to find somewhere to kip for the night. I found an old shed and set up camp. The next morning I began the initial trek home, but soon came face to face with some ugly dude. Just looking at his face made me feel sick so I retreated and went on my way looking for an alternative route home.
Days turned into nights, nights turned into days, it felt like I had been walking for month's and yet still hadn't come accross any familar ground. Thirsty and hungry, I lived off the land but eventually collasped in a garden.
Then the next thing I knew I was at the Vets and Dan was there! Turned out I had a computer chip under my skin containing details of home! 0O0-itznaaz!
Wednesday 7th March '07 - Should We Stay or Should We go?Me again... Still no sign of our little man! Vix, Jess and myself have come to the conclusion that Smokey Boy is not likely to come back anytime soon. Although we will never give up hope of his return and with your appreciated support we have decided to continue with the website. Get ready for some changes!
Monday 26th February '07 - Jessica's First BirthdayHello people... Jessica celebrated her first birthday yesterday. Everyone had a fantastic time including our little princess, she received loads of presents and has the rest of the year to play with them. Thank you everyone who had sent cards and donations. She really is a very lucky girl! I have posted some pictures on her gallery.
Vix and I cannot believe how fast this year has gone! Just to think this time last year we were
running on no sleep and pure addrenaline. Experiencing the gift of life while entering a world of the unknown. What a fantastic ride it has been.
Following an extensive leaflet drop and flyer posting there is still no sign of our little boy. Smokey went missing on the 15th February and although we haven't given up hope, we are starting to presume that with everyday that passes, he may not be coming back. Happy times come with sad times...

Baby J has taken a likening to certain programmes on the TV, she gets very excited
when Countdown or the Simpsons starts, she enjoys nothing more than sitting down with some biscuit n juice and watching to see which inventive way Homer and the clan will crash on their couch. She is also learning to pull herself up and walk along the side of the sofa, so that she can grab my tail! MMM????
Dan is decorating this weekend so I'll expect the whole place will turn into a disaster zone. As long as I get access to the laptop I don't care. I'll wind him up and watch all the latest video's of the PS3's most craved game MOTORSTORM and the new Simon Pegg movie HOT FUZZ.
Monday 22nd January '07 - Up, up and away!Goodweek to you all... By now you have probably seen the disturbing pictures of Dan n Vix all over the internet, and believe me when I say this one is tame! I mean seriously, you would think that they have better things to be doing than playing around with dancing animations of themselves over at Muglets.com You wouldn't catch me there!.. uh-herm.. honest!
Baby J is now standing, leaning on furniture, crawling uncontrollably around the floor and giving everyone kisses. She also has eight teeth to bite you with. Nice! Everyday she does something new, then repeats it, then repeats it, then repeats it... well practise does make perfect.
Other stuff this week (well actually promised last week) is the amazing doped up spiders, I see these things in the garden all the time and I didn't know that adding a little chemical imbalance to their diets this could happen!!! Science today is incredible! And lastly for those of you who love this green talking org or whatever he is, it appears there is another sequel coming out Shrek - The Third Njoy!

Sunday 14th January '07 - She'sa Grindin' an'a Wavin'!Hello... With her new teeth, Baby J has decided to inevitably annoy her parents by grinding them together, now to those of you who may have not experienced this lovely sound, perhaps
comparing it to the feeling of when you squeeze cotton wool buds together using your fingers or listening to the sound of nails scraping slowly down a chalkboard will jog your memory! These all seem to have the same effects on human beings, they all screw up their faces with utter disgust, hold their head in their hands and turn red. Weird!
Other skills Jessica seems to have mastered this New Year are the ability to wave hello / good-bye to Dan n Vix, or even good-morning, good-lunch, good-toys, good-nap, good-evening, good-night or even just wave 'coz waving is fun!
So as we all slowly forget Christmas, one of Billy Gates rivals The 'Apple Corporation' wish they had given this to Santa to hand out, their new iPhone... Dan was going on about it boring me stupid so I told him to check Idiot Toys to see what they think. You can
always rely on those guys to give you a down to earth, realistic and amusing new gadget review. Dan read it and laughed his wobbly t#ts off but I think he's still interested in getting one !?!?
As it's Sunday I expect Dan n Vix will settle down to watch a movie this evening, sometimes it's a funny one. sometimes it's a horror! Boo! But this guy manages to mix the two in a mickey take of the movie "SAW", I don't think it was the outcome he wanted, but it made me laugh!
Anyways, I'm off to get some sleep, been up 30 minutes now and so I am knackered.. I have a few more things to post this week... one being the effects of drugs (thats cat-nip by the way) on Spiders and the other thing is what Dan n Vix get up to on the internet during the evenings when I'm a asleep. I got it! I've got the evidence and it's not pretty...blackmail time me thinks! Stay tuned....
Thursday 4th January '07 - Yippe-Ki-YAY , Mika and Anyone for Pennis?Gotta say... I'm diggin this! He is refreshingly different, reminds me a lot of Prince and Freddie Murcury. I have a feeling he is going to be a big hit in 2007.

Dan went back to work... well he disappeared into the conservatory all day so I guess thats where he went, strange coz I had got used to him being around again. He didn't look too hot first thing this morning, he was mumbling something about two day hangovers, giving up drinking, the gym and the need of a bacon butty, I think he was just a bit dazed and confused (nothing new there then!).
